JAPANESE ACUPUNCTURE & YIN SHIATSU

for specialist treatment of sports injuries and pain relief

Welcome to this website where you can find out how acupuncture and shiatsu massage can bring you relief from chronic and acute pain and help you reach a condition of optimum fitness and flexibility. People often don’t realise how much improvement can be gained without the use of drugs and surgery – Japanese acupuncture and yin shiatsu can make a massive difference to your health and well-being and, for athletes and dancers, can help keep your joints subtle and your muscles in peak condition.

My name’s Yoshihiro Murayama, usually known in England as Yoshi. I qualified in Acupuncture, Japanese Massage and Moxibustion at one of Tokyo’s top schools of Acupuncture and worked at the famous Akahigedo Clinic of Oriental Medicine for ten years before moving to the UK in the early 1990s. I have dedicated the past 30 years to developing a style of diagnosis and treatment using massage, acupuncture and manipulation techniques based on traditional oriental medical theory. I specialise in treating all types of chronic and acute pain, in particular :-
.

Sports Injuries
Shoulder and back pain & stiffness
.
Sciatica and leg pain
.
Tennis elbow & frozen shoulder
.
Knee and ankle injuries
.
Repetitive strain injury
.
Arthritic pain
.
Post-operative pain

Our modern lifestyles mean an almost inevitable build up of physical stress in the body, and we all suffer the consequences from time to time, in the form of headaches and migraines, digestive problems and general aches and pains.

I aim to get to the root of your symptoms and use a range of techniques to address underlying areas of tension and bring about fast and lasting relief.
